When Kevin Harvick's No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet rolls into Daytona International Speedway for the Feb. 13 Sprint Unlimited, it will carry primary sponsorship from Busch beer.
Why is that significant? Busch has had a long association with NASCAR, sponsoring what's now known as the XFINITY Series from 1987 to 2004. Busch was also the title sponsor of the Busch Clash -- now the Sprint Unlimited -- from 1979 to 1997.
But Busch hasn't been a car sponsor in the Cup Series since they backed Cale Yarborough in 1979.
So for beer fans, Busch sponsoring Harvick is kind of big deal.
To celebrate its return, Busch is running a new ad campaign that "revolves around the idea that hard work is meant to be rewarded, and Busch is the perfect beer to celebrate the moment when the job is done, and done right," the company said in a statement.
The accompanying video is a first look at the new ads, which will run in 15- and 30-second formats. (Click here to view on YouTube)
