(KHI) announced today Nestlé Purina PetCare, along with retail partner Kroger Food Stores, will feature several Purina brands on the No. 33 Chevrolet of four-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday at Nashville Superspeedway. To complement the vibrant green and white color scheme, the Beneful logo will adorn the hood and quarter panels along with Kroger Food Stores and Nestlé Purina’s other featured brands, Beggin’® and Friskies.
Hornaday, a 46-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series winner is ready to go back to Nashville Superspeedway where he has experienced much success over the past year.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back to Nashville,” said Hornaday. “We had a solid run there earlier this year and we are the defending winners of that event. I’m excited to have Nestlé Purina and their brands join the No. 33 team. I have two dogs that love Purina products. It’s great that we can bring that brand in to Truck Series racing. I hope we can get them to victory lane.”
The primary sponsorship on the No. 33 Chevrolet will mark Nestlé Purina’s first venture into the sport of NASCAR racing.
