California native Kevin Harvick, driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet, won the Drive4Clots.com 300 on Saturday at Auto Club Speedway. Harvick pulled away from Brendan Gaughan, driver of the No. 62 Chevrolet, to win for the 46th time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
For Harvick, it was his first win at Auto Club Speedway in XFINITY Series action. He now has 12 top-five finishes in 19 career XFINITY races at Fontana.
Erik Jones, Chase Elliott and Chris Buescher rounded out the top-five finishers in the fifth of 33 XFINITY Series races this season.
Series points leader Ty Dillon finished 13th. Buescher moved to within five points of Dillon with his top-five finish.
The NASCAR XFINITY Series takes a break in the schedule until the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 at 8:30 p.m. ET on April 10 at Texas Motor Speedway (FOX Sports 1).
