Budweiser Racing Team Notes of Interest
• Kevin Harvick and the No. 4 Budweiser Chevrolet SS team earned a 14th-place finish in Sunday’s Pocono 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Pocono Raceway after a left-front tire failure forced the team to make an unscheduled, green-flag pit stop late in the race.
• Harvick started the race from the fourth position and radioed to crew chief Rodney Childers on lap 19 that the No. 4 Budweiser Chevrolet had a loose-handling condition when exiting Turn 1. Childers called for an air pressure adjustment when Harvick came to pit road for four tires and fuel under green-flag conditions on lap 27, and Harvick settled into the third position after green-flag stops cycled through.
• Childers called Harvick in for a green-flag stop on lap 56 and the team changed tires, added fuel and made an additional adjustment to improve the car's handling. The caution flag waved just after Harvick returned to the field and once the cars that had yet to pit made their stops, he restarted second at lap 64.
• The No. 4 Budweiser Chevrolet was scored second when Harvick was forced to come to pit road on lap 116 for a flat left-front tire. The caution flag waved as Harvick approached pit road, causing the team to fall a lap down to the leader. The race restarted on lap 122 with Harvick in the 32nd position, one lap down.
• Harvick was able to get back on the lead lap after a caution on lap 137. The team pitted for four tires, fuel and a track bar adjustment, and Harvick restarted 30th on lap 141.
• Childers called Harvick to pit road for the final time during a caution on lap 139. The team changed all four tires, added fuel and Harvick was scored 26th when the race restarted on lap 148.
• Harvick raced hard during the final run and was able to work his way up to 14th before the checkered flag waved on lap 160.
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. scored the win in Sunday's race. Brad Keselowski, Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson rounded out the top-five spots.
• Jeff Gordon took over the lead in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver point standings following the race at Pocono. Matt Kenseth, Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Keselowski round out the top-five spots. Harvick remains 12th in the standings. He’s now fourteen points back from 10th and 95 behind Gordon.
The following is the finishing position of the other Stewart-Haas Racing teams in Sunday's race:
• Kurt Busch and the No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet team finished third.
• Tony Stewart and the No. 14 Bass Pro Shops/Mobil 1 Chevrolet team finished 13th.
• Danica Patrick and the No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet team finished 37th.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams travel to Michigan International Speedway next weekend to compete in the Quicken Loans 400.
